Description: Connecticut Football Club Staff Coaches work closely with the Director of Programs and other club directors to develop players, with an emphasis on technical skills, game understanding and respect for all who make up their training and match environment. The coach must be fully committed and should also possess strong interpersonal and public speaking skills, be able to resolve conflict in a professional manner and have strong communication skills, both verbally and in written form. This part-time position requires unique working hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Connecticut Football Club coaches also have regular exposure to the outdoors and at times in adverse weather conditions commensurate with New England Weather late fall and early spring.
Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 3-years’ experience or preferably an NSCAA or US Soccer License with a minimum level "E" or Grassroots Diploma. Proven successful soccer coaching experience. Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills. Must be responsible and dependable, punctual. Valid Drivers License. Opportunities available for qualified applicants starting August 2022.
